About

Hi! I'm Natalie, the creator of tinykeanuu. I started this business in Janurary of 2025, selling hair clips and clothes. During the early months of starting my business, my catalog has grown to include a variety of accessories ranging from hair clips and keychains, to necklaces and earrings.

How did Tinykeanuu begin?
Tinykeanuu was created on a whim, and was an impulsove decision I made after being gifted a label printer from my sister for Christmas. From that day on, I've been experimenting with many crafts and continue to broaden my horizon.

Where does the name originate from?
Tinykeanuu originates from my dog, Keanu, he's a white maltese and he's my whole world.

What was the biggest challenge when first starting Tinykeanuu?
I was having a hard time initially deciding what it is my brand was. I started off with clothes, but I didn't feel like it suited me. I wanted to create something that reflected myself as a person. Once I eventually got out of the clothing business, I wanted to create jewelry as well as trinkets, but most people I saw were either one or the other. I never felt like my products really fit into either mold, they weren't just jewelry and they weren't just trinkets. So eventually I landed myself in the accessory department, where I feel I have the most creative freedom for my brand. A big obstacle I had to overcome was adversity. Initally starting my brand, people in my personal life did not care too much about it. But to me, creating this brand was so much more than that. Lastly, probably the largest thing I've dealt with is insecurity in my brand. There have been many late nights I have spent stalking other vendors pages, and feeling as if my products aren't up to snuff. Or feeling as if I need to change my products when I don't get accepted into a market. These feelings spark from my insecurites and lack of confidence in myself. It is a problem I know I will eventually come to terms with, as the older my brand becomes, the more stable and confident I feel.

How has your business effected you personally?
2025, the year I turned 18, was such a primal time for opportunity and I knew that my time for this brand was now. Since then, I've met close to thousands of people who support my brand and I. Every new customer, every fellow vendor, every returning customer. On the outside, it may seem as this is a silly activity, but it runs so much deeper than that. Tinykeanuu has cultivated an environment where I feel heard, supported and uplifted by those around me. All the time I put into creating pieces, testing out market displays and printing out business cards is rewarded by every purchase or compliment. I've been able to meet vendors of all backgrounds, some that work corporate jobs, some that are on a dance team and some that are in university. The connections I've been able to build on my journey are some of the most precious and that I hold close to my heart.  For that I am eternally grateful, and I can't wait to see where Tinykeanuu will take me next.

A little about me:
I was born in New York in 2007, and moved to California in 2018. I'm the youngest of 3 and have 2 amazing older sisters. I graduated highschool in 2025 and am on the track to go into the medical field. I have been with my boyfriend for 2 years and we love to explore Orange County & get boba. I'm interested in fashion and music! (fun fact: i have been skydiving). My favorite past times apart from crafting include sightseeing, baking and sleeping with my dog.
